Your First Impression Matters!

In job applications, your documents serve as the gateway to an interview. And a professional application photo adds a personal touch that is still appreciated in the German job market.
To ensure that your application photo truly reflects your personality, our experienced photographer will capture you in the best light! For a €20 co-payment (we cover the rest), you’ll receive 3 professional and retouched images. The event title shows what the final images will look like.

Process:

Choose your time slot during registration. On the day of the shoot, you’ll have 10 minutes within your time slot, during which you can even change your outfit. Afterwards, spend 5 minutes selecting your 3 favorite images together with the photographer. You’ll receive the retouched images via email within 2 weeks after the shoot.
This event is highly sought after and is exclusively for students and doctoral candidates at KIT.

Are you planning to apply for a job or internship in Germany but unsure where to start? You are wondering what application documents are required in Germany and what you need to keep in mind?

In this information session, you'll learn where to find jobs and what is required for a complete application in Germany. We will guide you on how to write a personalised and job-specific cover letter and on how to create a clearly structured and attractive Curriculum Vitae (CV).

At the end, you'll have the opportunity to ask any questions you’ve ever had about applying for jobs or internships in Germany.

This training is funded by the DAAD project ‘Study, stay, succeed in Karlsruhe’. International students intending to graduate at KIT and Hochschule Karlsruhe are given priority for a place as well as graduates up to 1 year after graduation.

Non-international students can also enroll and will be placed at the waiting list. We inform them a few days before start, if there are places left for non-international students and if they can attend.
